Maybe that was what she wanted: those five minutes of bad-ass Gloria. It had gotten so heated. Yes and no. I get pissed off and mad and sad and react to things just like the next person.
I think there are a lot of judgmental people out there. The homeless man with the golden voice just copped a job! Yes, we know you read YBF too. Happy Founders Day! Search this site:. So, Shaunie spoke to VH1 about what went down from her perspective: Tell me what you think about the incident with Gloria. Do you regret the incident?
Any thoughts on following her out to the car? What has the fallout over this been like? Do you feel bashed on Twitter? Your thoughts? Here's video of the ambush: Source The Randomness: 1. Story 2. View the discussion thread. Login to post comments. I love watching the show but then again I like watching train wrecks.
The women are all ghetto. I dont like Shaq but I feel for him being married to such a low class person. How can you do this kind of show and be a good mother. She's just a groupie. Evelyn is a hood rat. She is like 30 and has a 18 year kid. Jennifer is a tranny who married for money. She contributes nothing to society. She is a loser. Tami, she is real but ghetto. The girl can fight though. Royce is a troll. Why is she on the show?
In short, none of the trannies are technically Basketball Wives. One of them is an ex and the other is married to a guy who retired a long time ago. The rest have only dated screwed or been engaged to these low class basketball players. U should shutup for one thing you obviously watch the show like why? I agree wholeheartly with your comment regarding the women.
Shaunie plays both sides. I'm surprise she time to fly back and forth doing a show like this and for what reason because I'm sure she doesn't need the money. She should be set for life.
I havent followed the show either. I did catch a few episodes including the the finale with the Salley guy. I have to admit, I was so disappointed in Shaunie. I might expect that from the others because they had no life or careers before their encounter with these "money men". Shaunie had her own before Shaq. Her behavior was that a a straight hood chic.
Not to mention she said she was in Fl, with her children. You left your kids for the BS. I agree it was a poor choice to go. Shaunie I know that you need to make a life for you and your kids financially but this show is trash. This women are not on your level. Get rid of the show and find something more classy to invest your time and money in to. Good luck! I think this is a great show, these women have probelms just like women who may not have the fame and furtune as they do.
I admire her Again I support the show, why, cause it shows "US " on tv I was really upset at how these "women" act when it comes down to confronting their issues with each other. They still act like their in high school. Every time one of them has something to say to one that they don't like they all gang up together. Like be for real I'm still young only 19 but I don't even get down like that. Shaunie I was really surprised at because she's supposed to be the real cool calm and collected one and she acted like real ghetto.
Thats not classy at all. Okay First I got to admit, I am totally addicted to the drama of this show Kudo's for the show Shaunie. I can't really blame Gloria for going off because she and Suzy were ambush. Shaunie has always carried herself above the fray if you will so I was a little suprised she went through with the Ambush, but it was great reality TV, Me and the wife were cracking up.
I think Gloria held her own, and considering she and Suzy were not looking for drama I can't blame either for leaving. Was the Ambush in poor taste prolly, but the only reason I watch the show is for drama and laughs and the Ambush provided that and more. Thank yo for adding Tammy she is one crazy woman, love her, can't wait to see her put the smack down on Evelyn, cause somebody needs to stand up to Evelyn she is running to much right now.
These women may be bitter but I understand them to a certain degree. Shaunie's anger to me is justified. STR8 UP!!! I am with you. Shaunie was too soft to me. I put myself in her shoes and I was her, I would've ambushed them myself.
I would have kicked you tale as soon as she stepped outside. She would be justified. People on the outside looking in always have comments that don't make any sense. Being in her shoes, should she have just kept it all in and pretended this chic's ugly sister didn't try to detroy her life. Heck no! Seriously if it was my husband, I would have been in the slammer magazine with a smile on my face thinking , I will be out in about a hour and that ugly sister is next!
Shut up with all the dumb comments like, "she was wrong for doing that. How does that feel? Shaunie knows too! Shaunie will befriend gloria when opportunity arises or if gloria humble herself. YOU Rock! Shaunie is a mess for that! It's her show and she invited all the chicks she don't like?!?!!? Thatboggled me form the jump Shanie "if you don't care" why were you there These women are so tacky and classes. Gloria did the right thing by leaving these bitter ex's alone.
When women go, we go. I know there is that whole forgive and forget, but when you start arguing, everything comes out. There are rules and guidelines we set for each other.
The media is brutal. Shirea L. All Rights Reserved. Entertainment News. After touting her amazing relationship for two seasons, Shaunie, Evelyn, and the rest of the cast were all too happy to rub it in her face when she called off her wedding to Barnes.
But she could not resist dogging Gloria for her failed engagement, calling Gloria a heartless failure, which led to Gloria calling her boss a cunt on national television. Shaunie then unceremoniously told her to kick rocks, as any boss would after that. On the reunion episode for that season, Gloria surprised her co-stars by returning to share the stage with them, and she explained her current relationship status with Barnes to whom, at that point, she was still engaged.
Gloria was booted off Basketball Wives after two seasons and was then surprisingly recast in its spinoff, Basketball Wives: LA , the following year along with Laura. Five eternal episodes. And as the Kim and Kyle of the franchise, the Basketball Wives: LA producers were smart to capitalize on the dynamic of the sisters, who eventually did have a falling out. Of course. Gloria and Laura both left the spinoff after two seasons, and the show has thrived without them.
