I've looked for some and can't find any. I don't mind ordering them online anyway. Our pet stores are rubbish, I had to have reptifrog granules ordered from our local pet store for my frogs coz we couldn't get them round here either and it took 3 weeks for them to get here..
Anyone who has observed pond turtles like sliders, cooters or painted turtles in the wild has seen them hang out on the surface of the water, not as often as basking, but often. I thought it was pretty cool myself. If you have a local pets at home they sell Zoo Med growth and maintenance and your local fish shop will sometimes sell turtle foods. Our pets home don't sell anything like that unfortunitely..
They don't deal with reptiles at our local pets home either, which is a shame.. I get all my turtle food from pets pad at rawcliffe, they sell everything for turtles but not baby turtles food. I'm ordering from zoo med, I use a lot of zoo med stuff anyway and need some new basking islands so i'll just order the baby turtle food at the same time. Order a small container if you won't be buying any other hatchlings soon, as there's probably a million pellets in there and your turtle will outgrow that pellet size rather quickly.
Do you mean the King British ones? Ive found those very good with my map how do you order from Zoo Med?

Red-Eared Sliders have an enlarged, oblique reddish patch behind each eye, narrow chin stripes, a yellowish-green carapace with the distinct yellow streak on the pleural scutes, black blotches on most of the plastral scutes, and horizontal yellow and black stripes on the rear of the thighs. Intergrades have the reddish or yellowish patch behind the eyes or have both the red streak and a reduced, vertical yellow bar.
They also have black blotches of highly variable size on several of the plastral scutes, and a mottled pattern or set of horizontal lines on the rear of the thighs. The carapace is greenish with a narrow yellow line in each of the pleural scutes. See "Conservation and Management" for additional discussion.
Biology: Yellow-Bellied Sliders inhabit all manner of freshwater habitats in southeastern Virginia, from lakes and ponds to rivers, ditches, marshes, bays, and swamps. The Cumberland slider has been found only in the Holston River. Preferred habitat has an organic substrate, aquatic vegetation, and basking sites. The activity period is April through October.
